Key Points for Attention in Installation and Debugging of Fire Exhaust Fan
Fire smoke exhaust fan is the key equipment of building fire protection system, and its installation and debugging quality is directly related to the smoke exhaust efficiency and evacuation safety when a fire occurs. It is necessary to strictly follow the requirements of the code and focus on the following core issues:
First, preparation before installation: laying a safe foundation
Preparation before installation is the key to avoid hidden dangers in the later period, which should be implemented from three aspects: equipment inspection, site conditions and tool materials:
Equipment and accessories verification
Check whether the model and specifications of the fan are consistent with the design drawings (such as air volume, wind pressure, power, speed and other parameters), and confirm that the nameplate information of the fan (manufacturer, product number, production date and fire protection certification mark) is complete and has the national compulsory product certification (CCCF certification). It is strictly forbidden to use the "three noes" products without certification.
Check whether the main body of the fan is in good condition: whether the impeller rotates flexibly (without jamming or abnormal sound), whether the blades are deformed or damaged, and whether the weld of the casing is firm (without cracks and air leakage); At the same time, check whether the accessories (such as anchor bolts, shock absorbers, rain shields, fire dampers and flexible connecting canvas) are complete, and the specifications of the accessories match the fan (for example, the nominal diameter of the fire damper should be the same as the size of the inlet and outlet of the fan).
